{Shop Update} Summer Craft Kits!

Hi guys!  Hope you are enjoying your summer so far.  We have been super busy around here decompressing from a busy school year, attending baseball games, and visiting family!  This weekend we are celebrating the special dad’s in our life with our annual Father’s Day camping trip!  I still have not quite figured out how my dog gets to spend the weekend at the spa, while I have to brave the wilderness but those are the things we do for love, right?!

I have been busy working in the studio putting together the summer line of craft kits. My shop has been updated and everything is in stock and ready to ship!

Americana Wood Wreath

Chalkboard Note Holder

Choo Choo Train

USA Blocks

 Handmade Card SetNature Pouch/Wallet

If you are in the local Chicago area, I will be at the French Market in Wheaton, IL on June 23rd for my first show of the summer. All of your favorite craft kits, along with the new summer line, will be available for purchase at that event.

Happy Crafting!

Shop Update {New Craft Kits}

Hi everyone and Happy Valentine’s Day!  Sorry I have been MIA lately.  I have been very busy creating new craft kits for you, and had to step away from my computer for a few days.  I find that when I am creating new products it helps my creative process to stay away from the Internet.  When I log onto my computer I get so distracted by all the pretty images and creative projects out there.  While I love all of the crafty goodness to be had, and enjoy being inspired by these projects, it becomes difficult to have my own creative thoughts.  Not a good thing when I am trying to come up with new craft kits for my shop!  Does anyone else feel this way? Please tell me I’m not the only one, ha!

Anyway, I am pretty excited about this next round of craft kits and I hope you are to!

Lucky the Leprechaun

Bring a little luck of the Irish to your St. Patrick’s Day decor.  This is a super cute craft to make as a gift or keep for yourself.  If you love Elf on the Shelf then why not create a similar tradition for St. Patrick’s Day?  This little guy is going to cause some mischief and surprise my kids each morning leading up to St. Patrick’s Day.

Little Lady Bug

This is a sweet craft for your little bug lover. All of the qualities that made Kooky Spooky Spider a top seller in an updated and super cute craft. A great project for a group gathering or use in lieu of goody bags for your next Ladybug party!

Nature Pouch

Kids love to explore nature, and now with this simple beginner sewing craft, they can create a pouch that will hold all of the treasures they find on their next nature hunt! Made from all eco friendly materials including Eco-fi felt, natural jute twine, and genuine leather. Makes a great craft for your next group event!

All products are in the shop and ready to ship!  Hope you have a wonderful day!

Another Shop Update! {Valentine’s Day Craft Kits}

It has been a busy week in the craft studio creating new craft kits for Valentine’s Day and the spring line.  I will have the spring line ready to unveil soon, however, I thought I would share some Valentine’s Day craft kits with you today!  All items are in stock and ready to ship to your door!

Brand new craft kit for 2012!  Conversation hearts are not only fun to eat but they also make a cute and easy no sew craft!

I like to name all of my character crafts after someone I know.  Lucy the Lovebug is named after one of my bestie’s sweet little girls.  Isn’t she, er it….cute!

This craft kit is a staple in the Freckles Crafts store, and I thought it was fitting to include it in the Valentine’s Day line.  Who doesn’t love to get a bouquet of flowers from a loved one…and these don’t require watering.  Even better!

I love product release days!  I get all excited (an nervous), but mostly excited! Can’t wait to hear what you think!

While visiting my store, you may notice that I have started adding a “pin it” button to my products.  If you like what you see, I would love for your to pin it but please pin responsibly.   I would appreciate it if you note that the image came from the Freckles Crafts website, and categorize your pin as a product please! :)  Muchas Gracias!!!!

Now I need your help, and I would be so grateful if you would share your thoughts in the comment area below.  What Valentine’s Day traditions or fun little surprises do you do for your kids?  I have really slacked on this holiday in the past, and I want to do something special this year but have no idea where to begin.  Please share your ideas with me, pretty please!  Thank you!
