Self employment has so many perks; being your own boss, controlling your own hours, and the feeling of success that comes from building a business and following your passions. While this is all true, it can also be very lonely. Often when we start a business from scratch we do it on our own. There is no team of employees or partners to draw inspiration and support from. I found that while I enjoyed working for myself and controlling every aspect of my business, I missed the camaraderie and teamwork that I had when working in a traditional office setting. I began searching online for groups of like minded individuals who were also working from home, running a small business while juggling family, and managing a household.
Enter Mommy Perks! This community is made up of amazing small business owners all working toward the same goals; to provide for their families, follow their passions, and make a difference in their communities. I love being a part of this talented group of women. While we are spread out across the globe we are close knit, always willing to offer advice, feedback and support to each other. It has made a world of difference in my business this past year and I would encourage any small business owner who is just starting out, or who may be searching for support to find a network to belong to.
I am trilled to introduce you to a few of my closest Mommy Perks friends.
